OUR WEDDING

The happy couple

The Wedding

We had a wonderful wedding on Saturday, June 14, 2003. Around 250 family and friends showed up to witness the beautiful event. Everything went off great (except for the little problem with the wick of the unity candle which wouldn't light, but everyone needs their own story, eh). We feel truly blessed by all the contributions and participation of family members and friends. Below are some pictures of the wedding ceremony.

    The Reception

After the ceremony and the photos, the party began. Our reception dinner and dance was held at Tudor Hall with music provided by Quality Entertainment; they both did a great job. Throughout the evening, there was food, speeches, laughter, kissing, dancing, and plenty of great memories. Below are some pictures from the reception.

    The Honeymoon

We were very privileged to have a three week honeymoon, a wonderful time of relaxation and enjoying each other's company. During our first week, we relaxed at the cottage. Then, for the second week, we flew down to Mexico and stayed at the Bahia Principe Akumal resort on the Mayan Riviera. It was sunny for the first half and rainy for the second half (and yet we still managed to get a sunburn). Despite a couple days of sickness, we still had a great time. Our third week was spent back in Canada, first in Ottawa, then a trip to Toronto for the "Lion King Musical" and finishing with weekend in Sarnia.
